During the summer of 2019, graduate students Cortney Kramer and Jared Schmidt traveled to southern Wisconsin and southern Minnesota, respectively, to continue our project to identify and document Nordic-American folk artists in the region. The two conducted interviews with more than 25 folk artists with film, photography, and audio recordings.
For more Nordic American folk artists, see the 2017 fieldwork and 2018 fieldwork!
