During the summer of 2019, graduate students Cortney Kramer and Jared Schmidt traveled to southern Wisconsin and southern Minnesota, respectively, to continue our project to identify and document Nordic-American folk artists in the region. The two conducted interviews with more than 25 folk artists with film, photography, and audio recordings.
