As a public folklore project, “Sustaining Scandinavian Folk Arts in the Upper Midwest” focuses on fostering relationships with a variety of people, communities, and organizations. We’re proud to work with a number of different partners. Here on campus, we receive support from and partner with:
- Allen Centennial Garden
- Center for the Humanities
- Center for the Study of Upper Midwestern Cultures
- Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic+
- Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture
- Mills Music Library
- Morgridge Center for Public Service
If you have an idea and are interested in potentially collaborating with us on a project to support and sustain Scandinavian folk arts in the Upper Midwest, please get in touch!
And if you’d like to support the work we do consider donating to the project through the Center for the Study of Upper Midwestern Cultures.
