Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux grew up as a perpetual wreath-girl at Midsommar celebrations and is proud to be an all-around Scandi-nerd. She has been telling “deliciously imaginative” folktales, often from Sweden and Norway, since 2001. Rose is also a member of SVEA, an a cappella Swedish folk quartet that blends poetry and song. When she isn’t performing, Rose writes children’s books. Kevin Kling called her debut novel, The Marvelous Imagination of Katie Addams, “a fantastic book.” Her latest release, The Sock Goblin, is a picture book. Rose lives in Grand Marais, Minnesota, where she and her family run Art House Bed & Breakfast.
