We’re excited to announce the Wahlstrom Nordic Workshop April 8–April 10, 2022, at the Beaver Creek Nature Reserve in Fall Creek, Wisconsin! The deadline for registration is March 25.
As always, this year’s program will include Nordic games (with a slight change from our regular winter programming!), woodcarving, weaving, folk dancing, home cooked meals, as well as discussions and presentations about the Nordic region. Check out our preliminary schedule for details.
Thanks to a generous grant from the American Scandinavian Foundation, we’ll be hosting several additional folk artists to work with you, including bandweaving, folk dancing, rosemaling and various forms of woodcarving, including flat-plane carving.
The registration fee for the entire weekend (which includes food, lodging, and all materials) is $60. If you are only attending one day, the fee is $40. Attendees should pay the registration fee when they arrive at Beaver Creek.
Students will receive free registration this year from the Sustaining Scandinavian Folk Arts in the Upper Midwest project. However, because of space restrictions, we can only host 75 students, so please register in advance!
ALL ATTENDEES must register using the online form by March 25.
