Join post-doc Chrissy Widmayer for her online workshop on archiving with our friends at the Norwegian American Genealogical Center. Participants will learn about how to start or build a personal archive and how to keep archives safe. This will include discussion of digitization of media, the basics of keeping precious objects safe at home, and how participants may gift objects to local historical societies and archives to keep, instead.
Registration with the Norwegian American Genealogical Center is required.
When: Tuesday, April 21 & Thursday, April 23. 10:00am-12:00pm.
This workshop will take place in two 2-hour sessions online.
